| Health & Safety Officer Lancashire £100.00 - £150.00 Per Day
Our client are a Disaster Recovery Service operating throughout the UK, they provide a comprehensive service to a wide range of commercial and industrial organisations, due to expansion are seeking a highly experienced Health & Safety Officer.
This is initially A Two week to- Four Week contract however due to business needs this may be extended.
The Role
Reporting to the Managing Director, You will advise on policies and procedures, ensuring documentation is in line with legislation and is relevant and specific to the company.
Key Duties Will Include:-
Assisting in the continuous development, implementation
Monitoring the effectiveness of the Company's policies and procedures
Provide advice on writing procedures on control and management of contractors,
Carrying out inspections and audits
Making recommendations for improvement of systems
Investigation of accident/dangerous occurrences
Preparation of reports; advising on up-dates to legal requirements
Approved Codes of Practice and best practice standards
Enforcing authorities
Assisting in preparation of safety plans etc
Candidate Skills
Previous H & S experience
Degree educated or equivalent
Health and safety qualification such as the NEBOSH Diploma
Locations
Preston, Chorley, Blackburn, Bolton, Leyland, Burnley, Barnoldswick, Adlington, Nelson, Todmorden, Manchester, Bury, Oldham, Rochdale, and surrounding areas.
