This vacancy is for a Principal Electronics Engineer to be based in Oldham.
As Principal Engineer you would be responsible for providing engineering solutions that meets both strict internal and customer standards whilst mentoring and developing other engineering staff.
The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership in the area of military and aerospace power electronics and will be skilled in the design, test and manufacture of products such as Power Inverters, Converters, Amplifiers and Motor Controllers.
Experience will have been gained in at least two of the following schemes:
.DCiDC Converters
.ACiD( Supplies
.ACi AC Converters
.D CiA( Inverters
.3 Phase Motor Control Inverters
All at power levels between lOOW and lOKW
Experience of DOORS, SABER and Altium Designer would be beneficial but is not essential.
An Aerospace or Defence background is preferred.
A good working knowledge of multiple EMC standards and means of achieving compliance is required.
