| Job Title: Flow Measurement Consultant (Perm/Con) |
| Description |
Our client are looking for experienced Measurement Consultants. Suitable candidates should ideally have over 10 years experience in Flow Measurement of Oil & Gas and have an in depth understanding of all of the relevant standards and requirements.
This is normally the position of a specialist in a particular field of engineering. Participation in short and long range planning is required and the making of independent decisions on work methods and procedures within an overall program. Originality and ingenuity are required for devising practical and economical solutions to problems. The co-ordination of groups containing professional staff may be required or authority exercised over a small group of qualified personnel engaged in complex technical problems.
Reporting to the Operations Manager you will be responsible for Technical output of Senior Engineers, Engineers and Trainee Engineers when appointed as Job Officer.
Main duties:
Engineering Studies Project Support Activities Reviewing/approving documentation Training development/support Technical input/support to the Company products Auditing of Metering systems Representation of Company on Technical committees Preparation and presentation of Technical papers at seminars Developing the technical capability of the Company Identifying new markets and products Promoting the Company at every opportunity
You will work normally within a broadly defined area and make responsible decisions not usually subject to technical review on all matters assigned except those involving large sums of money or long objectives.
Results are periodically evaluated and reviewed for policy, soundness of approach, objectives and general effectiveness. You will tackle more difficult problems and methods of approach and may co-ordinate work programs and direct use of materials and equipment.
