The Company - Our Client:
Our client is a world leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of Testing Equipment for construction materials. Since the foundation of the UK Company in 1983, our client has achieved an international reputation in this field and has expanded the operation so successfully that they now have five offices and over 100 distributors around the world.
The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• The successful candidate will be involved in a busy export sales role providing support to Export Sales Managers, Distribution network plus some direct customer support.
• Responsible for creating and issuing of quotations.
• Preparation of tender bids when required.
• Support of quotations through to order stage.
• Order entry and order support though shipping agent to Distributor/Client.
• Maintaining a number of in house systems, such as L/C management and order status.
• To be a flexible team player to provide holiday cover when required.
The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years experience within either an exports sales or a shipping environment
• Experience of a similar supportive administration role
• A proven understanding and experience within export sales, shipping and payment terms
• An understanding of Letter of Credits is essential
• Experience of Microsoft Navision Order processing software would be a distinct advantage but training will be provided

• Basic salary up to £22,000
