The Company - Our Client:
Our Client are a large Telecommunication Company who are looking for an IT Development Manager who would be responsible for analysing changing business requirements and processes and designing IT solutions software, required for the changing company needs, manage a development team of Analyst/Programmers and meet the new systems requirements and processes for all users in the company.
The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Analysis and development of new business procedures and systems
Producing workflow for new and changes to systems
Manage the change of new systems in the business i.e. control the implementation
Maintenance of existing software systems and processes
Managing a team of programmers to deliver changes on time, meeting the business requirements
The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
Ability to communicate and manage a development team and its projects, guided by the business decisions made
Analysis and interpretive skills to be able to assess the requirements of business
Knowledge of Telecoms industry and interactions with key suppliers i.e. BT / WLR3
Knowledge of IT Hardware and Software trends
The ability to see the bigger
Several years working in a similar role with business experience
Numerate with good communicative skills
The ability to interpret the business requirements
Good programming skills working in a windows environment and particularly the use of SQL
Knowledge of database information and management in particular, the use of SQL
Knowledge and qualifications (Microsoft) of Programming languages
Knowledge and qualifications (Microsoft) in database design
Degree level in analytical studies i.e. Mathematics, Computer Science, Sciences etc.
The Package What You Could Earn:
Basic salary up to £40,000 - £50,000 Negotiable,
