| Job Title: Nuclear Risk Assessment |
| Description |
| The job includes:
* Safety assessment production, and other technical inputs, to safety cases and safety documentation for a range of facilities;
* Report-writing for a number of operators, regulators and industry stakeholders and reviewing work for technical accuracy;
* Writing technical proposals including establishing schedules and budgets for projects or tasks within projects;
* Communicating with and managing project team members;
* Revising the scope of work, approach, schedules and budgets as required and monitoring project spend;
* Maintaining quality, managing changing priorities and working to challenging timescales;
* Ensuring that clients are properly satisfied and the Company's good reputation is maintained;
* Identifying and developing opportunities for new business.
Qualifications
Qualifications and Skills required :
Technical skills:
You should have experience of safety assessment production and other technical inputs to safety cases and safety documentation for a range of facilities;
You should have a good knowledge of nuclear operators, plants, facilities and nuclear operator risk assessment methodologies;
You should have an understanding of relevant UK Health & Safety legislation and codes of practice.
Relationship skills:
You should have a recognised qualification and professional membership of an appropriate body.
Senior consultants are encouraged to become involved in identifying and developing opportunities for new business and client relationship management.
Work experience:
You have risk assessment experience (>5 years) in the nuclear industry
Relevant engineering or science degree
Language: fluent in either English or French and preferably knowledge of the other
