| Job Title: Test Technician, Aerospace, Marlow |

The Company - Our Client:
Our client is a major aerospace engineering company established for over 60 years. They have grown in international prominence by introducing an ever-increasing range of airborne communications and navigation antennas. Due to there expansion they are now looking for an experienced Test Technician to be based at their office in Marlow, Bucks.
The Role - Main Duties and Responsibilities:
• Testing of electronic sub assembly using approved test equipment, subject to company test procedures and circuit diagrams
• Diagnosing fault down to component level.
• Checking that the production schedules and drawings are appropriate and/or the right issues.
• Interpretation of tuning to meet required perimeters and making adjustments to meet specification.
• Responsible for the correct operation of company supplied test equipment
• Confirming that test equipment is within calibration
• Responsible for safety and condition of test equipment
• Responsible for the return of equipment to storage
• Responsible for use and availability of (STTE) to type equipment on certain job.
• Soldering within standard procedures.
• Maintain register of calibration details and register for booking in and out of test equipment.
• Responsible for working area and observing company policy and health and safety matters.
The Person - Skills, Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
• 5 years experience of testing Receivers and other communications equipment.
• Experience in Testing, set-up and fault find to component level
• Experience in R/F, analogue and digital circuits
• Experience in VHF + UHF receivers and transceivers homing systems
