Our clients are a nationwide service company are seeking an experienced Accounts Controller / Company Accountant. You will manage a small team and have complete autonomy in shaping the working processes and procedures within the Finance function.
Reporting to the Managing Director
Experienced in implementing various accounting policies, procedures, etc
Comparing prices on the supplier invoices to the amounts loaded
Investigate variances with the internal rates department and the supplier
Reconcile supplier statements
Producing financial reports
Payroll, Starters, Leavers, SMP
VAT Returns / PAYE
Bank reconciliations
Reconciliation of supplier statements
Preparing month end and year end reports
Producing monthly Management Accounts
Sales Reporting : Producing daily / weekly sales reports
Ad-hoc accounts finance functions as required
Word Processing, Filing, Photocopying, Faxing
Accountancy Skills
Accounts Knowledge 3 – years +
Sage Software Skills – Sage Line 50 Essential
Microsoft Office Experience
Reliable, Dependable
Work using own initiative
Flexible & Efficient
Education / Qualifications (Qualified by Experience)
Salary & Package
£18,000 - £22,000 Upon Experience
Hours of work 9.00 am – 5.00 pm Monday to Friday
28 Days Holiday (Includes bank holidays)
