| Job Title: IT Technician |
| Description |
| Due to continued expansion our client requires an additional IT Technician, to provide on-going support to their customer base mostly on site but also remotely. Must have a minimum of 3 years previous experience.
Install configure and test new systems, hardware, software and structured cabling onto customers sites.
Investigating, diagnosing and rectifying faulty equipment, including hardware and software configuration.
Experience in:
Win 2000 server to Win 2003 server
(and SBS) experience.
Exchange experience (installation,
configuration and support).
Networking (understanding technology
for routing, switching and bridging)
Installation of cabling Cat 5 & Cat 6.
Anti virus products and remote
support products.
Experience of Windows 98 through to
Windows 7.
Windows Server 2000 / 2008, Exchange
Server 2003 / 2007.
Exchange experience (installation,
configuration and support).
Good understanding of DNS, DHCP,
TCP/IP.
Microsoft certification is desirable.
The company is based just outside Huntingdon, so own transport is required, but a company vehicle is
provided when on site.
