Director of Installations and Technology

Location: West Yorkshire

 

A Director of Installations and Technology is required for a new Christian start-up company specialising in domestic PV solar and other renewable technology. With a background in engineering, electronics or renewables, you will be able to demonstrate:

 

A sound understanding of the principles of solar energy

The ability to lead a team of solar panel installers

Competent DiY skills (electrical experience advantageous) and a head for heights

The readiness to undertake professional qualifications as required

 

You will be joining a business at its very beginning so will be required to help shape the strategy for expansion and development. It will sometimes be necessary to work at weekends so an element of flexibility will be expected.

 

You must also be prepared to support the development of an organisational culture that puts its Christian Core Values – Honesty, Respect and Responsibility - at the centre. All staff will be required to support and actively demonstrate the Christian values of the organisation and to take part in activities such as staff meetings and away days where the values and beliefs of the organisation will be obvious.
