Job Title: Project Engineer
Description

Duties & Responsibilities
As a Project Engineer you will be required to project manage and provide technical input and control of dredge and decommissioning operational support work scopes.

- Lead small project teams and participate in all aspects of the planning, design and production of engineering designs and equipment

- Assist with the control all aspects of engineering projects including cost, schedule, technical matters and inter-department and customer interface

- Proposal preparation and marketing efforts in support of dredge and decommissioning activities and related product lines

- Work within the QA requirements of the company

- Prepare engineering calculations and analysis

- Prepare design and fabrication drawings

- Review and check drawings and calculations

- Support dredge and decommissioning activities and equipment as required, including trips offshore and overseas

- Assist with ROV tooling development and subsea engineering support activities

- Prepare maintenance and operational manuals and other required project documentation

- Prepare conceptual studies regarding relevant technical and operational topics

- Undertake risk and PUWER assessments on all aspects of the operational activities under the control of the Dredge & Decommissioning Manager

- Ensure the Safety policies and procedures are communicated to staff and implemented.
Qualifications
HNC / HND / BSc or equivalent level of competence in an Engineering Discipline (P)
Engineering Council registration (P)
OPITO Approved Offshore Emergency training (P)

WORK

Experience as a Design and / or Project Engineer or other relevant role working on offshore and subsea projects (E)

Experience with dredge and decommissioning activities (P)

Demonstrated history of managing projects with responsibility for technical content, cost, schedule, performance and customer interface (E)

EQUIPMENT

Familiarity with marine and offshore / subsea production equipment and operations in general and in particular with as many items as possible from the following (E):

Remotely Operated Vehicles and Related Tooling
Lifting and Handling Systems
Pressure Vessels and Pipework
Subsea Dredging equipment
Hydraulic and Pneumatic Systems
Electrical Power and Electrical Control Systems

SOFTWARE

Microsoft Office (E)

MS Project, AutoCAD, MathCAD, SolidWorks (P)

E – Essential; P - Preferred
