| Job Title: Project Manager - Engineering |
| Description |
| My client is the world leader in the provision of high integrity electrical and fibre optic connector systems for communications and subsea power provision to the international offshore oil and gas industry.
Due to an increase in demand they now have the role of a Project Manager available at the new world-class Subsea Excellence Centre.
The successful applicant will be responsible for project management of product qualification, ensuring orders are managed in accordance with customer requirements and preparation of customer proposals/timing plans.
The principal accountabilities are:-
1. Interfacing with Expro C&M Test Department and external test houses.
2. Negotiation of appropriate commercial conditions.
3. Compliance with contractual requirements.
4. Compilation of accurate reports for internal and external customers.
5. Management of project meetings.
6. Coordinate multi-disciplined project teams.
7. Identification and allocation of specific actions in order to satisfy all enquiry/contractual/project conditions.
8. Support the Customer Support Department with preparation of bid packages and timing plans.
9. Project Management of technical investigations and other company initiatives.
The essential skills required are:-
• Sound engineering knowledge with minimum HNC qualification.
• General understanding of Tronic products and industry awareness (preferred but not essential).
• Understanding of customer operations and requirements.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations and techniques.
• Understanding of costing, pricing, planning and estimating techniques.
• Self motivated and ability to work on own initiative.
• Computer literate with MS Office. |
