UKFast is a Times Top 100 company based in Manchester City Centre. We are at the forefront of the web hosting industry and strive to remain there through the constant innovation and design of new technology. So far we have grown the team to 110 and we are now looking to expand the Research and Development department.
Reporting to the R & D team leader you will be:
Building and maintaining websites and web applications using MySQL, PHP and CSS
Aiding with research and development
Working on client projects
You will:
Be proficient in HTML
Experienced at using PHP and MySQL
Have a good understanding of databases and Structured Query Language (SQL)
Be proficient using CSS layouts with an appreciation of cross-browser and CSS compliance issues
Have knowledge of XML, JavaScript and AJAX
Understand Object-Oriented programming concepts
Be an excellent problem solver
Be a team player who is enthusiastic and bright with a can-do attitude
Have excellent communication skills
Have the ability to multi-task, prioritise, work on your own initiative and to deadlines
You will receive:
Basic salary of £18-25k depending on experience
Extensive in-house training
