Corporate Account Handler
Location: Worcester
Salary: £23,000 - £26,000
We are seeking Commercial Account handler to join one of Bristol leading Corporate Insurance teams to support their Account Executives and promote their products within the Commercial Market. Your role will be to build up long term relationships with a caseload of clients and play a central role in developing these accounts, by recommending and broking appropriate covers.
Responsibilities:
Assisting the Account Executives with gaining new business by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market
Developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients and Insurance companies
Increasing profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible
Deliver good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients
Maintain detailed knowledge of new and existing products
Ensure compliance with regulations and procedures as laid down by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) , keeping up to date with all changes in the regulatory framework
Work with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand
Skills:
Experience of working within a commercial Insurance Environment
Experience dealing with Renewals, Mid-term Adjustments and New Business applications
Ability to manage a broad portfolio of clients
Excellent communication skills and computer literate
