My client, who design and manufacture embedded single board computers, application ready platforms and configurable systems for customers within the Transportation, Communications, Defence, Security, and Industrial engineering industries, are now looking for a Technical Sales Engineer based in Cambridge. The ideal Technical Sales Engineer will have a background in design with a move into sales.
The package is 35-40k basic with a team bonus at the end of the year based on performance. The office is based in Cambridge.
Essential experience and skills required:
• Electronics hardware experience would definitely be needed
• Customer facing sales experience
• The ability to demonstrate a sound understanding of pre-sales technical support and project management
• A good understanding of the technology based computing market
• Experience of selling value added products
• Experience of selling to OEMs and/or distributors
• The ability to produce and deliver professional Sales proposals and Sales presentations of products and solutions to technical, commercial and directorate staff within client organisations
