| Business Development Manager (Electronics) wanted in Basingstoke, Hampshire!
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager? If so my client, who are distributors within the wireless communications industry, are now looking for an office based Business Development Manager. The Business Development Manager must have at least 2-5 years experience of selling within the electronics industry.
The main role of the Business Development Manager is to support and guide their field sales team, win new business, grow existing business, liase with suppliers to offer a strong product offering and develop and create a strong market for their brand in the UK.
Specific Responsibilities of the Business Development Manager
1. To liaise with the Companies main suppliers and build a strong relationship
2. Build a strong relationship with key customers
3. Support the field sales team with customer visits and product management support. Support with coordinating joint visits with suppliers
4. Prepare budgets when requested, (in liaison with the sales team)
5. Prepare quarterly reports for the Board Meeting
6. To devise and implement a product training programme.
7. To create a database of target customers for future development.
In return the Business Development Manager will be paid a salary of 25-35k depending on experience with additional commission of 5-10k plus car allowance.
