| Job Title: Financial Controller |
| Description |
Use your technical expertise to motivate and manage the group's accounting function and to support the growth of the business financially and strategically.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
To manage and motivate the finance department to ensure that the demands of the business are met.
Accurate production and review of management accounts on a monthly basis.
Maintenance of daily service standards, including databases and statistics.
Responsible for recommending and implementing internal controls and procedures ensuring compliance with company policies.
Maintain effective control procedures within the department for the Group.
To be the technical referral point for the Group with regard to any financial queries.
Monitor, review and report on the performance of the Group against key measures on a timely basis with the ability to report directly to the Managing Director with accurate and up to date information.
Responsible for ensuring that internal and external service standards are strictly adhered to.
Identification and management of the workload of the division and potential departmental problems and solutions.
Ad hoc investigations, analyses and other projects.
Prepare and submit returns to Government Agencies on a timely basis.
Ensure that all accounting, treasury and taxation responsibilities are met accurately and in line with statutory requirements.
Any other reasonable tasks in line with the duties of the Financial Controller and the needs of the business.
