SAP Basis Consultant and System Administrator Profile - Text
The SAP Basis Consultant will work in the areas of system administration, database administration and user management. The person will have mastered the management of a SAP environment based on Oracle and with Solaris or Unix experience. The SAP Basis Consultant should have experience in releases NetWeaver 2004 or higher. He/she should be able to install and support a multi-tier SAP landscape with SAP CRM, SAP ERP and SAP BI components.
As the SAP CRM solution is the main application initially and it will be deployed using the Web UI experience in Internet applications is expected. This should include experience in monitoring Web Dynpro and SAP CRM Middleware performance. Preferably the person will also be able to advise on design and coordination perspectives.
Experience in Adobe Interactive Forms in a Web environment will be a plus.
Advanced skills (in order of priority):
• Up-to-date SAP BC skills for CRM, ERP and BI including:
o Oracle database
o NetWeaver 7.0 (2004s) with dual-stack (ABAP + Java)
o Solaris OS / Unix derivate OS
ASSETS: Basic skills (in order of priority):
• Web client - server applications
• ABAP Objects skills
• ABAP Web Dynpro skills
• SAP CRM Middleware
Tasks:
• Project task
o Technical architecture design
o Sizing of system
o Installation and maintenance of the SAP systems environment on Oracle/Solaris
o System and client copying.
o Transport management
o Setting up and maintaining transport routes
• On-going tasks
o Fine-tuning of the installed systems
o Performance analysis, system monitoring and system maintenance
o Middleware fine-tuning
o Coordination of user management
o Security management
ASSETS: There will be other functions on expert level to support network administration, operating system administration and application development e.g. in ABAP or JAVA. |
